In recent thrilling news, it was announced that UK scientists have paved the way for humans, as well as other species, to survive their own extinction through a nearly indestructible digital storage disc. Researchers have inscribed the human genome into what has been nicknamed the "Superman memory crystal," a fused quartz glass that can store up to 360 terabytes of digital data, in the hopes that thousands or even billions of years from now human life can be artificially reproduced by accessing this information.
