Disney has become a reference when it comes to animated fairy tales ever since 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' debuted in 1937. The plot of these stories often involves a young woman who fights against evil forces, goes through a number of adventures, and, of course, falls in love. This young woman is often born or married into royalty. Then we have the princes, who are usually either established royals or somehow become one.
Over the years, Disney have played around with these stories, and indeed introduced new ones more relatable to current audiences. Still, some of these princesses and princes are indeed quite young. Not only that, but some of these relationship have considerable age gaps...
