A year of celestial wonders kicks off with a stunning planetary pairing! On January 18, Venus and Saturn will align closely in the sky, offering a spectacular view.
The two planets will be visible about 30–45 minutes after sunset, shining in the southwest. Venus will be the brighter of the two.
While both planets are visible to the naked eye, binoculars will enhance the view, revealing Saturn's golden glow next to Venus's brilliant white shine.
